Fun with renderings

Kansas State recently released renderings for the renovation of their football stadium (not done by my company). One of my favorite things to do when looking at renderings is finding people that are repeated and/or out of place. Since render libraries don’t typically have people dressed for sporting events, the images get peppered with a few pictures of design firm employees dressed in team apparel. Below are a few of my observations.

  1. Q: Why is she standing like that? A: So you can see the Power Cat on her ass.
  2. This girl looks lonely. Her grandmother saw this picture and told her to stand up straight.
  3. Look, it’s three people in cowboy boots. Can you say “land grant university”? Also, who wears backpacks to football games?
  4. Cargo shorts and a neck beard. What is he pointing at?
  5. Power Cat, walking away.

  1. Hark! It’s the goat ropers! Dude lost his backpack though. Unfortunate.
  2. Why do those smiling young people with no legs look like they are modeling T-shirts for an online store? Because they are.
  3. Power Cat, leaving the scene of a crime.

  4. Ass logo.
  5. From the “old guys in suits sitting with their legs crossed” library.

  1. K-State fans wear suits to football games. And cross their legs a lot.
  2. Posing for a picture for an invisible photographer… or a stolen facebook profile picture.
  3. Cargo shorts, neck beard, and still pointing. $100 says he’s an intern.
  4. (Pretend there is a “4” pointing at the guy in the lower right) Shorts with black athletic socks pulled up to mid-shin… yep he’s from Manhattan.
